Fighting

If you are challenged to a knife fight, bring a gun.
There is a time to fight. Somewhere out there is a fight with your name on it. This is a good thing.
If possible, give an opponent the opportunity to save face.
When pushed, pull (reassert the initiative).

Never fight to win appreciation; fight because it’s the right thing to do.
Never hate your enemies; it clouds your judgment.
